The Rodgers thing lately...is b-ball. In our little cul de sac, there is plenty of room to teach jett to use that height to his advantage with our b-ball goal! (For those of you who don't get to see Jett alot, he is super tall for his age.) It's also turned into the street goal, all the boys on the street love to play, all the time! It's great.

Dallas Mavs here I come!

I thought I would also share some great pics from back at Mother's Day 2007. I'll take more from Father's Day tomorrow. :)

I love this picture of Jett. He used every block in the box at Grandma Julie's house! He is a smart cookie, that is for sure. Well, school is out, and Jett is missing it alot by now. He will be ready for kindergarten in the fall, so we are working on getting prepared for that. He loves his kindergarten practice books, and is spelling every word he knows!

We have been swimming alot, those days are few and far between because of the weird weather here in TX. It rains, and rains, and rains, then there are a few sunny days mixed in. So we jump on it!

We had a great time at Stacie & Dustin's pool. Mark and Jett even had a sleep-over at Zach's request! :) They built a 'hut' (a 'fort', in Texas terms..) in their living room to sleep in. FUN! Stacie evn broke out the old school Super Nintendo to play on! It got quite competitive between Mark and I, but that's just us...:)

Everything else is going well. Mark and I are staying busy with our work and trying to enjoy the summer with the family. We hope everything is good with all of you and we hope to get on the ball with this Blogger thing! It's important to stay in touch with family, even if just through the internet. :)

February in Texas.

February has come around again, the year is passing by quickly. It's chilly in Texas, staying in the 30's and 40's mostly. Jett is loving riding his bike with the neighborhood kids. Mark and I got a 24HourFitness membership through Mark's new job and he and I have started going as much as we can. Jett pratically begs us to go and play in the kids area there, so it's perfect. Tomorrow we are doing a SPIN CLASS, sounds like fun! At least he and I can suffer the ride together. :)

I am so busy lately helping in my best friend's wedding that will happen May 12. Through the process, Mark and I are so grateful that we had a nice, small and organized by Grandma Julie wedding. Whew! There sure is alot to do and prepare for. Poor Mark, it's all I talk about lately.

In recent news, this morning we woke up to a beautiful snow. It was fresh and fluffy. I know most of our family live in amazing places, with snow everyday, but here in Texas, those day are few and far between. Here are a couple pics:

Well, we obviously haven't updated our blog in quite some time! Sorry everyone, we have been soo busy!

This is the update: We moved in our cute little rental house that we just LOVE. It's the perfect way to find out what it takes to be a homeowner one day. It's alot of work! I suppose we were spoiled form 5 years of apartment life. LOL

Jett is loving his yard, and the big playroom he now has. It's 1/2 Jett's playroom, and 1/2 Hannah's workout room. I have a punching bag, my balance ball among other stuff to get fit for 2007! Jett is already friends with the boys in the neighborhood. They are a little older, 7,8 & 9, but he loves to hang with the big boys! Mark loves his office, the perfect place for that beloved MAC of his. :)

Christmas was great this year. Isn't Christmas always great though? Even here in Texas, when it can rain on Christmas, it felt like winter. The Season alone makes you realize eveything you are thankful for and WHO you are thankful for. :)

Jett loves-loves-loves his Christmas present from Grandma and Papa, his frog, "Beans". He has his own little habitat and lagoon. Jett hasn't held him yet, he is so squirmy (Jett that is..) and loves just petting him and watching him climb around in the bathtub. Except for the time Dad forgot to get him OUT of the tub and Mom was suprised when going to take a shower, EEK!

Well, I'm sure we will have tons to write about in 2007, so I'm going to make it a must to update once a week. :) I hope to get to know everyone a little better through this and that you get to know us too! We are a hoot, that is for sure!

Those Rowdy Rodgers...

So the Rodgers family is joining the bloggin world to keep you guys up to date on what we are doing. I dont know how to link this to yalls but i am sure Stacy will show me.

Right now Hannah and I are both working. Jett is in school and having a blast. My work flag football team stinks(we are 2-4), with two games left. OU(oklahoma university)lost to UT, which was a hard loss. Keith, Russell, Brian, and I were all at the game for the loss. I will attach some pictures of the family later.
